Compensation Administrators have access within the Paychex Flex Engage product to access employee pay data from the left hand menu by selecting Manage Compensation -> Employee Pay.


Managing Pay Data in Engage

Administrators will see that there is no option in Engage to update or modify an employee's pay information from the system. This information is fed over directly from Paychex. 


Within the employee pay screen you will see each employees personnel data, Compensation Band, Compa-ratio, and their pay breakdown.


Important Note: Hourly Employees will need Standard Hours populated in Paychex to calculate a pay amount in Engage. Without that data point added, hourly workers will be ineligible to be included in compensation cycles.


Understanding Compa-Ratio's

 Compa-ratio's are a simple way to understand how an employee is paid compared to the target pay level of someone in their Compensation Band. It is a ratio of Employee Pay / Target Pay. This would mean a ratio of 1 would mean that someone is paid exactly the target amount for their role. This ratio is visible to managers when making recommendations and to users assigned with doing approvals during a compensation cycle.


Export

Compensation Admins are able to export this information via Excel at any time by selecting the Export button in the top right of the page. This report will contain all of the information visible on the UI in Engage
